Job Responsibilities:
1. Regional Account Acquisition & Growth
- Identify, acquire, and develop new markets and supplier partnerships in line with business demand.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive merchant acquisition, regional expansion, and revenue growth.
2. End-to-End Regional Partnership Management
- Lead the full partnership lifecycle, including lead generation, prospecting, outreach, meetings, negotiation, contracting, onboarding, integration, and post-launch follow-up.
- Conduct monthly business reviews/catch-ups with key strategic partners to drive value creation and long-term growth.
3. Strategic Merchant Growth & Performance
- Define clear success metrics and KPIs for each partnership.
- Develop and implement growth strategies to enhance merchant performance, optimize revenue, and increase engagement.
4. Operational Relationship Management
- Maintain strong and effective working relationships with merchant accounts.
- Provide consistent communication and proactive support to ensure high levels of merchant satisfaction and retention.
5. Merchant Communication & Issue Resolution
- Coordinate day-to-day operational matters with merchants, ensuring timely updates and accurate communications.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for merchant queries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
6. Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration
- Work closely with international and cross-functional teams to support regional initiatives and projects.
- Ensure alignment across departments for seamless execution of partnership strategies.
7. Reporting & Administrative Support
- Manage administrative documentation including contracts, internal trackers, and filing systems.
- Prepare and maintain weekly performance reports in collaboration with Line Managers to ensure targets and deliverables are tracked and achieved.
8. Technology & Product Knowledge
- Maintain a strong understanding of in-house technology solutions and service offerings to effectively support and advise merchants.
9. Additional Responsibilities
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned to support the objectives of the Partnership team.
Key Requirements:
- Natural people person -enthusiastic individual with a go-getter attitude, immediately bond with others and are able to quickly build strong relationships
- Strategic thinker with a long-term approach to deal-making and partnership building
- Experience in partnership and not afraid of cold calling and speak to decision-makers
- Minimum 2-3 years of sales or partnership experience (is a big plus)
- Good commercial awareness
- Systematic and meticulous with an eye for detail
- Excellent written communication and communication skill. Fluent in English.
- A start-up attitude highly collaborative and able to display roll-up-your sleeves attitude.
- Team Player with the ability to work with different functions in a fast paced environment and constantly evolving environment. Able to work independently.
