Senior Robotics & Mechatronics Engineer
Join the founding team at Crown Digital's new Global Robotics & AI R&D Center, building Ella 2.0 — our next-gen AI-powered robotic barista. We're looking for a hands-on engineer to lead motion systems, hardware integration, and real-world deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop & deploy motion control (Python, C++, ROS2)
- Integrate actuators, embedded systems & sensors (RGB-D, LIDAR, IMUs)
- Lead Sim2Real policy transfer from research to robot
- Prototype hardware (CAD, 3D printing) & optimize for the field
- Mentor junior engineers & drive technical excellence
Requirements
- 5+ years in robotics, mechatronics, or motion systems
- Strong with ROS2, C++, Python, BLDC/ILDC, PID control
- Experience with robotic arms, sensor fusion, CAD design
- Bonus: Isaac Sim, Groot Dreams, RL pipelines
- Passion for field robotics & embodied AI
