Senior Sales Application Engineer

As a Senior Sales Application Engineer, you will connect customer requirements with JKS's engineering capabilities.

You will work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to understand technical challenges, develop suitable system solutions, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and support opportunities from initial enquiry through order confirmation.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, customer engagement and developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for JKS system solutions.
• Engage with customers to understand their processes, technical requirements and operational challenges.
• Work closely with Engineering teams to develop suitable system concepts and technical solutions.
• Recommend appropriate applications and solutions based on customer requirements.
• Present proposed solutions and explain the technical and commercial benefits to customers.
• Manage sales opportunities from initial enquiry, technical discussion and proposal through negotiation and order confirmation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Coordinate technical and commercial matters between customers and internal teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
• Support new product applications, market development and business expansion activities.
• Participate in customer visits, exhibitions and business activities when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Automation or a related Engineering field.
• Relevant experience in application engineering, technical sales, system solutions, automation or industrial equipment.
• Good technical understanding with the ability to translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation and customer engagement skills.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and commercial awareness.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to manage opportunities independently.
• Able to work effectively with Engineering, Project and other cross-functional teams.
• Willing to travel for customer meetings and business activities.
• Good command of English; Mandarin would be an added advantage.
• Experience in semiconductor, automotive, automation, industrial equipment or manufacturing industries would be advantageous.
