We are partnering with a German based MNC that specializes in manufacturing of machineries. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Senior Sales Engineer as part of their strategic growth.
Responsibility:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation.
- Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing technical and commercial solutions.
- Handle the full sales cycle from lead qualification to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth pre- and post-sales support.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with distributors, integrators, and key business partners.
- Keep up with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to explore new growth opportunities.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in B2B technical sales, preferably involving capital equipment or industrial solutions.
- Prior experience in a multinational environment or matrix organization will be an advantage.
- Proven track record in achieving sales goals and developing long-term customer partnerships.
- Strong understanding of relevant industries such as metal fabrication, machine tools, precision engineering, or laser technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and results-driven individual with a hands-on approach.
