Responsible for new enquiry costing and quotation.
Conduct a feasibility study of the engineering approach and provide a costing calculation based on the company's actual capability.
Assist Engineering in preparing DFM and SRD for the customer prior to quotation submission.
From a summary of costing after gathering details and compiling data to estimate all production costs, considering raw materials, labour, equipment, and tooling, submit a quotation to the customer upon management approval.
Follow up on the RFQ status for NPI and Mass Production.
Preparing sales forecast and reports.
Meeting with the customer for a new RFQ and completing the RFQ on time.
Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
Participate in internal and external client debriefs.
Make sure all customer requirements and quoted conditions are conveyed to the internal team during Project Confirmation and Kick Off.
Work with internal to meet the customer's schedule and requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A University Degree is required, along with relevant experience is an added advantage.
Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin - to deal with Chinese clients.
Excellent human relations, communication, and negotiation skills are critical.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office is a must.
The incumbent must be able to represent the company in account development.
