Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives
The Sales Executive is responsible for planning and coordinating overall sales activities and strategies in the specific territory, while increasing sales and market share on a long-term basis. Engaging customers to drive sales strategy with Abbott Core Value.
Major Responsibilities
Technical / Operational
- Identify business opportunities, develop strategies to address those opportunities, and co-ordinate the implementation of those strategies within the ARDx_ID organization
- Regularly monitor sales performance of your territory against assigned budgets and take corrective actions as required to meet company goals
Internal Systems and Processes
- Report regularly on the performance of your allocated customer accounts in the required format
- Co-ordinate and communicate regularly with Marketing to ensure maximal service delivery to your customers
- Comply with Abott Corporate policies and procedures
Customers
- Maintain routine contact with key account stakeholders as defined by decision making ability, value of business opportunity, key opinion leaders, relationship value
- Co-ordinate any necessary training/support for your Customer Accounts
- Professionally represent Abott at local/regional sales and professional society meetings, congresses and trade shows
Financial
Conduct
- Ensure all activities carried out by self are in accordance with legislative employment policies and safety requirements and corporate policy
- Promote a standard of excellence for quality and customer focus at Abbott
- Uphold the company's WOWs
Minimum Skills, Education & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline from reputed institute/ university (preferably B. Pharm or B.Sc. from reputed university)
- 3-5 years of sales experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage Healthcare Professionals
- Self-motivated and values being part of a team and contributing to team results
