Role Description The Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Penang. In this role, the Sales Executive develops and manages customer relationships, identifies new business opportunities, and promotes Behn Meyer's product portfolio to meet sales targets. Daily activities include conducting customer visits, preparing and delivering product presentations, and negotiating quotations, prices, and contracts in line with company guidelines. The Sales Executive collaborates closely with internal teams such as technical support, logistics, and customer service to ensure timely delivery and high service levels. The role also involves monitoring market trends, competitors, and customer feedback, and preparing regular sales reports and forecasts to support strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer relationship skills, including lead generation, account management, contract negotiation, and hosting client lunches, dinners, and social engagements..
• Business development and market analysis skills to identify opportunities, understand industry trends, and support strategic growth.
• Communication and presentation skills for engaging diverse stakeholders and delivering clear, persuasive product information.
• Organizational and reporting skills to manage pipelines, prepare sales forecasts, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Relevant experience in B2B sales, preferably in chemicals, ingredients, agriculture, or related industrial sectors.
• Ability to work on-site in Bukit Mertajam, travel to customer locations, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; familiarity with enterprise systems or sales platforms is an advantage.
• Degree in Business, Marketing, Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
