Job Description

Job Summary**

The Senior Sales Executive at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones, focusing on delivering exceptional financial solutions and services.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market research.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Present and articulate the value proposition of UOB's diverse range of banking products and services, including loans, deposits, trade finance, and wealth management.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the bank.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, credit, and operations, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and service improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to management.

Job Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services, including corporate banking, retail banking, and wealth management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients at various levels.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of the Malaysian financial market and regulatory landscape is a distinct advantage.
