Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage new and existing business opportunities within the manufacturing and industrial sector.
- Promote and sell technical products/solutions by understanding customer requirements and matching them with suitable engineering solutions.
- Act as the main liaison between customer engineering teams and internal production, design, and project teams to define project scope and technical specifications.
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and cost calculations to clients.
- Lead contract negotiations with procurement teams while maintaining strong technical discussions with site engineers.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and market expansion objectives.
- Conduct regular client visits, site surveys, and technical consultations to support project development and after-sales services.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support business strategy and product positioning.
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates, and customer data in the CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and after-sales teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to strengthen market presence and brand visibility.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, progress reports, and performance analyses for management review.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical) or a Business degree with significant technical sales experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Engineering Sales, Technical Sales, or Industrial Business Development within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven ability to understand complex technical specifications and translate them into commercial value for clients.
- Experience liaising between client engineering teams and internal production teams to define project scopes.
- Strong understanding of business strategies, market dynamics, and client relationship management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B industrial environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate with both procurement managers and site engineers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
