Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Sales Manager / Sales Manager at Kuala Lumpur Sales Office. As a key player in our Sales team, you will act as a strategic driver in securing new business, managing key accounts, and ensuring our hotel remains the top choice for travelers and event planners.
You will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, executing sales regional strategies, and delivering legendary service to our clients. From high-level negotiations to collaborative site inspections, you play a vital role in hitting our platinum revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone prospecting, sales calls, site inspections, and written communication.
- Coordinate and participate in blitzes, expositions, fairs, familiarization trips, site inspections, and other relevant activities.
- Ensure proper communication between sales and operations departments to satisfy any special group needs.
- Promote the organization in and out of industry and at relevant trade associations.
- Present a professional image to employees, guests, clients, owners, and investors.
- Generate incremental revenue and brand awareness through the creation and implementation of brand relevant local events and promotions.
Qualifications / Skills / Competencies
- Degree/Diploma in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record in sales negotiation and closing deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on ROI and revenue results.
- Ability to work independently while being a harmonious team player.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- High level of professional integrity and grooming standards.
Industry Experience
- Minimum 58 years in hospitality sales (for Senior level) or 35 years (for Manager level).
- Experience in the Johor or Kuala Lumpur markets is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in luxury hotel environments or international hotel brands.
- Strong network of corporate clients, travel agents, or event planners.
- Familiarity with hotel sales software.
