(Senior SAP OTC Consultant - SD Module):
We are seeking a seasoned SAP OTC Consultant with 810 years of hands-on experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process. The ideal candidate will have successfully delivered end-to-end OTC solutions and bring deep domain knowledge in the one or more industries (e.g. Manufacturing, Life Science, Oil, Retail & Consumer Goods etc.)
Key Responsibilities & Expertise:
- SAP SD & OTC Module Expertise:
- Lead the design, configuration, and support of SAP SD and OTC processes including sales orders, pricing, delivery, shipping, billing, credit management, returns, and revenue recognition.
- Customize OTC flows to align with unique business requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Business Process Analysis & Optimization:
- Analyse current Order-to-Cash processes, identify pain points, and propose standardization or automation opportunities.
- Design scalable, efficient OTC process flows to improve order fulfilment and invoicing accuracy.
- Cross-Module Integration:
- Ensure seamless integration of SD with MM, PP, FI/CO, and PS for unified data flow and operational continuity.
- Handle process dependencies such as goods movements, delivery creation, invoice posting, and financial reconciliation.
- End-User Enablement & Support:
- Develop and deliver training for OTC cycle users including sales order entry, delivery processing, billing, and dispute resolution.
- Provide expert-level support for operational issues such as blocked orders, pricing errors, and credit challenges.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SD configurations, functional specifications, test scripts, and training guides.
- Ensure documentation supports traceability and handover throughout the project lifecycle.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Stay updated on the latest innovations in SAP SD and OTC, including Advanced ATP, Condition Contracts, SAP Fiori apps, and SAP BRIM.
- Drive ongoing improvements in the OTC lifecycle for faster order processing and cash realization.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 810 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD and OTC process implementation and support.
- Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery from blueprinting to post-go-live support.
- Strong understanding of pricing procedures, copy controls, credit management, and logistics execution.
- Integration knowledge with FI/CO, MM, PP, and PS modules.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in global delivery models with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience in Engineering, Construction & Operations (EC&O) and/or Manufacturing industries.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA SD, SAP BRIM, or SAP Advanced ATP.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps related to OTC and sales operations.
Education Qualifications & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Master's degree (e.g., MBA in Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management) is preferred.
