Job Title: Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract

About the Role

Infosys is seeking an experienced SeniorSAP FICO Consultant to implement and support its SAP Finance and Controlling solution. The successful candidate will be responsible for SAP FICO configuration, business process analysis, system enhancements, support, and project implementation activities. The role requires close collaboration with finance stakeholders, business users, and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Finance and Accounting stakeholders.
Configure and support SAP FICO modules, including:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Asset Accounting (AA)
Bank Accounting
Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
Internal Orders
Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
Product Costing
Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
Lead and participate in SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
Provide functional design specifications and collaborate with technical teams for custom developments.
Perform system configuration, testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring minimal business disruption.
Work closely with SAP MM, SD, PP, and WM teams to ensure seamless integration across modules.
Conduct end-user training and prepare functional documentation.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process optimization opportunities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience.
Strong configuration experience in SAP FI and CO modules.
End-to-end implementation experience in at least 3 SAP projects.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial business processes.

Asset Management
Budgeting and Forecasting
Financial Reporting
Strong knowledge of SAP integration with MM, SD, and other SAP modules.
Experience in preparing functional specifications and supporting developments.
Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage business users and senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in multinational or shared services environments.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations or support.
Knowledge of Central Finance, Group Reporting, or Treasury Management.
SAP FICO Certification is an added advantage.
Experience with SAP Fiori applications and SAP Analytics solutions is preferred.
