The Role
- As a Professional Services Specialist at Amdocs, you will be part of a group of highly trained product experts responsible for end-to-end product deployment of our multi-vendor, multi-technology network optimization platform.
What will your job look like
- Review technical requirements with internal and external stakeholders to recommend optimal solutions aligned with customer needs
- Participate in all technical aspects of product implementation, including end-to-end deployment of Amdocs solutions
- Serve as a customer-facing representative throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, including onsite engagements
- Deliver post-deployment training sessions and workshops to drive product adoption and effective usage
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate closely with R&D to resolve functional and performance-related concerns
- Support pre-sales activities, including proof-of-concepts (POCs) and technical evaluations
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and best practices
- Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance team productivity and individual efficiency

All you need is
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in web-based development, ideally within the telecom sector
- Proven experience in GIS web development using web mapping JavaScript libraries (e.g., Leaflet)
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration
- Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Cassandra)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PHP, Bash, or PowerShell
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues efficiently
- Skilled in building trust and confidence with stakeholders through high-quality and timely deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced telecom environment, with agility to adapt swiftly to evolving technologies, shifting requirements, and tight delivery timelines
- Flexibility to work across multiple time zones based on project needs
- [Region-Specific Role] Proficiency in speaking and reading Mandarin is required to effectively support stakeholders and operations in the Taiwan region
Good to have
- familiarity with telecommunications and radio network technologies (3G, 4G, 5G)
- Experience with Java and/or R programming languages
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade databases such as Oracle EE
- Exposure to geospatial analysis using JavaScript libraries (e.g., Turf.js)
- Experience working with Elasticsearch, including API integration and Query DSL
- Foundational knowledge of AI and Machine Learning concepts
- Strong integration and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
