Senior Software Developer (.NET Core)
Up to RM 9,000/month | Full-Time, Permanent | Based in PJ
A well-established Malaysian software company with 20+ years of experience in fintech and enterprise solutions is growing its engineering team. Known for delivering secure, scalable platforms in digital payments and fuel retail, they are now hiring a senior .NET Core developer to drive impactful projects across product development and client delivery.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise applications using .NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework
- Build and optimize high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and QA teams to deliver robust software solutions
- Participate in architectural discussions and code reviews, ensuring best practices are followed
- Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously enhance application performance and reliability
- Mentor junior developers and support technical upskilling within the team
- Stay current with emerging tech trends and actively contribute to product innovation
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in backend development, with strong proficiency in .NET Core and C#
- Deep understanding of ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and system architecture
- Familiarity with frontend integration using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience with Angular or React is a plus
- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Self-driven and capable of working independently while contributing to team success
Nice to Have
- Background in digital payment systems or high-volume transactional applications
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments
