Senior Software Developer

DataMicron is a multi-award Big Data and AI company, with patented technologies in USA and China. We have extensive experience in developing products and full-scale solutions in the field of business intelligence, machine learning & AI, data engineering and front-end development. We have covered and implemented end-to-end Big Data Analytics solutions in eight countries across major public and private sector organizations, and are currently going through a large expansion in our business portfolio.

We are looking for a senior Software Developer (at least 5 years experience) to support and enhance our custom big data analytics platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with production systems, solving complex technical challenges, and taking ownership of applications running across multiple server environments.

Application Support & Maintenance

• Support and maintain a custom big data analytics application, including bug fixes, enhancements, and regular system maintenance. Respond promptly to production incidents and implement long-term solutions.

Multi-Server Service Management

• Deploy, monitor, and manage services across distributed server environments, ensuring high availability and optimal system performance.

Troubleshooting & Debugging

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across the application stack, including .NET code, Linux environments, and network-related problems.

Performance Optimization

• Analyze system performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and data processing throughput.

Monitoring & Logging

• Set up and maintain monitoring tools, review system logs, and proactively identify potential issues before they impact operations.

Documentation

• Maintain clear technical documentation covering system architecture, deployments, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and continuously improve system reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Proven experience supporting and maintaining production systems
• Ability to work independently on complex technical tasks with minimal supervision

• .NET Development
• Strong proficiency in C# with experience in .NET Framework and .NET Core, including async/await and performance optimization.
• Big Data Application Support
• Hands-on experience supporting data-intensive or analytics-driven applications and optimizing high-volume processing.
• Distributed / Multi-Server Systems
• Practical experience deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting services across multiple servers.
• Networking Fundamentals
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and production network troubleshooting.
• Linux Systems
• Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL), including bash scripting, system configuration, log analysis, and performance tuning.

• Experience with Java for system integration or microservices
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or infrastructure as code
