Senior Software Engineer (Compliance Tech)

We're hiring a Senior/Lead Software Developer in the banking/financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

Lead development & maintenance of FMF applications.

Perform impact analysis, data mapping & technical design.

Write/maintain SQL/PL-SQL queries and Unix/PowerShell/Bash scripts.

Implement fixes & enhancements in Java.

Mentor junior developers & ensure quality delivery.

Work with testing, infra & compliance teams for deployments.

Manage vendor product implementation, gap analysis & integration.

Document technical specs & deployment guides.

Key Requirements

2+ years in a senior/lead software development role.

Banking/financial services experience, ideally in compliance or payments.

Strong hands-on expertise in:

• SQL/PL-SQL (database queries, optimization)
• Unix shell scripting / PowerShell / Bash
• Java (enhancements & defect fixes)

Knowledge of SDLC, impact analysis & vendor product implementations.

Familiar with DevOps tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory

Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, AML systems & transaction flows a plus.
