An online payment service provider and fintech company headquartered in Singapore.
- Location: Singapore, WFO
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Strategic & Product Leadership: Drive the comprehensive technical and product direction across multiple regional hubs. Align engineering and product goals with business objectives for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Product Management & Lifecycle: Own the end-to-end product strategy, defining the roadmap, prioritizing features, and managing the product lifecycle from conception to launch to ensure the gateway meets evolving e-commerce and merchant needs.
- Architecture & Scaling: Architect highly available, low-latency, and scalable payment platforms capable of supporting expanding merchant volumes and connecting gateways.
- Team Building & Culture: Attract, retain, and develop high-performing engineering and product management teams. Foster an innovative, agile, and collaborative culture that bridges technical execution with product-led growth.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee technology operations and product delivery, managing complex projects with rapidly changing priorities while maintaining strict deadlines across systems architecture, security, and databases.
Requirements
- Min. 7+ years of experience.
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven senior leadership experience within the fintech, payments, or e-commerce sectors, successfully leading both tech and product functions.
- Strong background in product management, specifically building out payment solutions, prioritizing roadmaps, and translating complex business requirements into scalable product features.
- Strong foundation in software design and backend development, maintaining a proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves capability.
- Deep expertise in microservices architecture, large-scale systems design, and database optimization. Extensive experience with cloud infrastructure and data platforms.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, data protection, and building systems compliant with payment industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS).
