Overall Job Description:
Innity is a digital marketing and media solutions company with a strong foothold in the APAC market. Innity's solutions provide a combination of creative advertising, content and influencer marketing, as well as community and commerce technologies for brands, agencies, advertisers and publishers.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible to develop, operate and maintain Innity Core Platform.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Full-Stack Development
- Lead and participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain frontend and backend features using Laravel, React/Vue, Node.js, and modern JavaScript technologies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that follows industry best practices.
2. System Integration & API Work
- Integrate data and services from various backend systems (REST APIs, databases, cloud services).
- Implement third-party APIs such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google, and other relevant platforms.
- Ensure systems are well-structured, scalable, and optimized for performance.
3. Cloud, DevOps & Infrastructure
- Work with AWS or Alicloud for deployment, scaling, caching, and storage (Redis, Redshift, S3, ECS/EC2, etc.).
- Collaborate on CI/CD, containerization, and DevOps processes to streamline development workflows.
4. System Analysis & Improvements
- Analyze existing systems, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements in architecture, coding standards, and workflows.
- Perform maintenance, enhancements, and optimizations on existing applications.
5. Research & Innovation
- Stay updated with new tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Research and propose innovative ideas that can evolve into product features or business solutions.
6. Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor software developers through code reviews, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Participate in weekly alignment meetings to ensure project progress and timely delivery.
Qualification & Competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience in web applications or full-stack environments.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring, leading, and guiding development teams.
- Strong proficiency in PHP with deep experience in the Laravel framework (backend, frontend, and API development).
- Solid experience with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Next.js.
- Experience with Node.js and its frameworks (Express.js, NestJS) is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB).
- Hands-on experience in cloud platforms, especially AWS or Alicloud, including services like Redis, Redshift, S3, ECS/EC2, CloudWatch, API Gateway, etc.
- Knowledge in other programming languages such as Go, Python, TypeScript is a plus.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, Docker, and container orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with big data processing, data pipelines, or AI/ML inference technologies is a bonus.
- Understanding of digital advertising technology (AdTech), including tracking, attribution, or programmatic advertising, is an advantage.
- Proven ability todeliver and lead complex projects from planning to deployment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
