Role Summary
The Senior Software Engineer is a hands-on role responsible for building and maintaining full-stack, cloud-native applications on AWS. This role focuses on frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript with Angular, and backend services built with Java Spring Boot. The engineer works closely with product owners and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Frontend Development: Design and develop responsive, high-quality UI using Angular (JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Backend Development: Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java Spring Boot
- API Integration: Collaborate across frontend and backend to design clean, efficient API contracts
- Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and operate applications on AWS using containerized and/or serverless architectures
- Performance & Reliability: Ensure application performance, stability, and observability
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to best practices, coding standards, and technical improvements
Requirements:
Required
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular for frontend development
- Solid experience building backend systems with Java Spring Boot
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and system integrations
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
Preferred
- Experience with frontend state management, performance optimization, and UI testing
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and message-driven architectures
- Exposure to infrastructure as code and cloud monitoring tools
- Experience with system modernization or large-scale enterprise applications
Full-Stack Collaboration Model
- Build Angular-based frontend applications consuming backend APIs
- Develop and maintain Spring Boot services supporting UI and integrations
- Participate in architectural decisions across frontend and backend layers
- Ensure seamless end-to-end user experience
