Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in PHP (Laravel) to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications. The role requires deep technical expertise, ownership of deliverables, and experience working with AWS cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and secure deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS environments.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues.
- Write clean, well documented, and maintainable code following best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in backend development using PHP.
- Strong hands on expertise in Laravel framework.
- Experience building and securing REST APIs.
- Hands on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
- Solid understanding of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM concepts.
- Strong experience with Git and version control best practices.
- Understanding of application security, performance tuning, and scalability.
- Good analytical, debugging, and problem solving skills.
