Based in Kuala Lumpur, you'll join an expanding team focused on JavaScript engineering, implementing website tagging frameworks and digital recognition solutions that support audience segmentation and marketing campaigns.

This role is fully technology-focused, allowing you to specialise in frontend development, user behaviour tracking, and digital recognition while working closely with US stakeholders and internal teams. You'll see the impact of your work immediately through insights that drive campaign effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage JavaScript tagging frameworks on client websites.
  • Navigate website tagging to identify users, track behaviour, and understand navigation patterns.
  • Conduct basic analysis on user behaviour to support audience segmentation and insights.
  • Apply pseudo-anonymisation techniques to maintain user privacy.
  • Integrate client-side tagging with backend services via RESTful APIs.
  • Store and retrieve data using AWS services, particularly DynamoDB.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong JavaScript (frontend/client-side) skills.
  • Understanding of cookies, digital identifiers, and digital recognition approaches.
  • Experience with REST/RESTful APIs and client-server integration.
  • Exposure to AWS services, especially DynamoDB.
  • Familiarity with user behaviour tracking, attributes, and profiling.

Nice to have: AdTech experience, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Snowflake or Databricks, Python (basic to intermediate level) and basic automation exposure.
