Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Malaysian Senior Software Engineers to join our team in delivering high-quality software solutions. This role involves developing and maintaining an in-house platform, researching emerging technologies, and driving continuous improvement in software performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the core in-house solution based on specifications.
- Build and enhance continuous integration frameworks to streamline delivery.
- Research and evaluate new real-time engines and big data analytics technologies.
- Optimize application performance through profiling and code improvements.
- Share best practices and knowledge in both technical and non-technical aspects of software development.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing complex, high-performance applications.
- Proficient in Java and Spring Framework development.
- Strong skills in web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and Angular Framework.
- Experienced with PostgreSQL and relational database design.
- Solid understanding of core design patterns and software best practices.
- Familiarity with version control and build tools like Maven, Git, and Mercurial.
- Experience with application servers such as Tomcat or JBoss/WildFly.
- Comfortable working on both Linux and Windows platforms.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, especially prompt engineering and model fine-tuning.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Agile development experience (Scrum or Kanban).
- Experience in building highly scalable, multi-threaded applications.
- Knowledge of complex event processing technologies (Apache Storm, Spark, Kafka, Flume).
- Familiarity with ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Python, and Bash scripting.
- Understanding of network/system management tools and protocols (Syslog, SNMP, TCP/IP, UDP, NTP).
- Hands-on experience with AI prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and deployment.
- Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector databases for AI applications.
