Job Title: Software Testing Engineer (Tier 3)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Testing Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, specifically with expertise in Tosca and UFT using VB Script. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure the quality and performance of our software applications through rigorous testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Tosca and UFT.
• Analyze test results and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and requirements.
• Participate in test planning and strategy discussions.
• Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testing team members.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  
  

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience with Tosca as a primary testing tool.
• Strong knowledge of UFT and VB Script for test automation.
• Experience in functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Ability to analyze complex software systems and identify testing needs.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with other testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in software testing.
• Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
