As a Senior Solutions Architect at NTT DATA, you will play an essential role in collaborating with clients and internal teams to create advanced, transformational designs and architectural visions for complex solutions. Your expertise will drive the development of multi-technology consulting services that span application software, infrastructure, and related technology components.
You will contribute to complex solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas while evaluating alternative architectures for cost, performance, and scalability. By developing detailed specifications for cloud-based or on-premises components, you will ensure robust, cutting-edge solutions that meet our clients unique needs.
Your hands-on role will involve preparing technical plans and designs that comply with enterprise and solution architecture standards, remaining agile to adapt to changing project requirements. You will be accountable for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering thorough analysis, and providing effective problem resolution.
Keeping ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, you will produce insightful reports and technology roadmaps, sharing your knowledge with internal teams and clients alike. By creating multiple design views, you will address both functional and non-functional requirements, offering innovative solutions with proofofconcept (POC) implementations. You will also mentor and guide less experienced colleagues, contributing to our collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Data & Analytics Architecture (Modernization)
- Design and implement modern data platforms utilizing Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Architect Lakehouse and realtime streaming solutions tailored for the Malaysian enterprise landscape.
- Implement data governance using Microsoft Purview, ensuring adherence to the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010.
- AI & Generative AI Leadership
- Architect AI/ML and GenAI solutions leveraging Azure OpenAI Service and Azure Machine Learning.
- Develop AI Copilot strategies and customized LLM applications for local business use cases (e.g., multilingual chatbots, automated credit scoring, etc.).
- Establish Responsible AI frameworks that meet both global standards and local ethical guidelines.
- Strategic Consulting & Presales (The Win Factor)
- Lead discovery workshops and AI Readiness Assessments for Csuite stakeholders (CIO/CDO/CTO).
- Own the technical solutioning for RFP/RFI responses, especially for largescale Malaysian digital initiatives.
- Develop localized ROI/TCO models and architecture blueprints that justify cloud spend in a costsensitive market.
- Lead ProofofConcept (POC) deliveries to demonstrate tangible value to stakeholders.
- Compliance & Ecosystem Integration
- Ensure Azure landing zones comply with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) RMiT (Risk Management in Technology) guidelines for FSI clients.
- Collaborate with Microsoft Malaysia and local partner ecosystems to stay ahead of regional product roadmaps.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 12+ years in IT; 5+ years specifically in Azure Data & AI Architecture.
- Technical Depth: Expertlevel knowledge of Azure SQL, Databricks, Fabric, and OpenAI.
- Presales Mastery: Proven track record of winning multimillionringgit deals in Malaysia or Southeast Asia.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of PDPA and/or BNM RMiT is highly advantageous.
- Communication: Exceptional English proficiency (written and verbal); fluency in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is a significant plus for local client engagement.
