Job Description:
- Implement individualized intervention programmes based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Early Intervention Programme (EIP) principles.
- Conduct one-to-one and small group therapy sessions to support the development of communication, social, behavioural, cognitive, and daily living skills.
- Monitor and record student progress regularly, ensuring therapy goals are being met and programmes are adjusted when necessary.
- Collaborate with therapists, teachers, and the multidisciplinary team to plan and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and session records.
- Report updates to parents regarding student development and any programme-related concerns.
- Assist in neurofeedback training sessions, a non-invasive brain training therapy that helps improve attention, emotional regulation, and cognitive performance. (Training will be provided).
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children with special needs, preferably in early intervention or therapy settings.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood, Behavioral Science, or any related field.
- Basic understanding or exposure to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or Early Intervention Programme (EIP) practices is an advantage.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children with special needs and their developmental progress.
Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required):
- Familiarity with AAC tools (e.g., Proloquo2Go, TouchChat HD).
- Familiarity with therapy resources or oral motor tools such as TalkTools.
