Job Purpose
Act as a project manager to plan, oversee, and deliver transformation initiatives from ideation to completion. Partner closely with business stakeholders to drive process improvements and organizational change within CIMB.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Transformation Delivery
- Lead and manage end-to-end transformation projects, from planning through execution and monitoring.
- Identify process gaps and design strategies for improvement and optimization.
- Drive collaboration across business, operations, and technology teams to ensure smooth implementation.
- Conduct detailed analysis of business operations and propose innovative, practical solutions.
- Track and evaluate project outcomes, adjusting as required for effectiveness.
- Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives impacting multiple business lines.
- Chair working committee meetings and facilitate steering committee sessions.
- Monitor, track, and resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical deliverables.
Stakeholder Management
- Manage stakeholder expectations, scope changes, and escalations through structured governance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across stakeholders to ensure collaboration.
- Provide clear, effective executive-level communication and reporting.
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
- Support CEO or Head, Strategy & Transformation as required, including at events or presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, or equivalent.
Professional Qualification / Licensing
- Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) will be an added advantage
Work Experience
- Prior experience in management consulting, transformation, or project management.
- Proven expertise in business process re-engineering.
Required Competencies & Skills
- Strong project management and multitasking capability.
- Critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint).
- High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of financial services (preferred but not essential).
