Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including pre-onboarding, onboarding, probation, confirmation, transfers, and promotions
- Prepare employment contracts, coordinate document collection, background checks, and employment pass / visa applications
- Manage onboarding logistics including orientation, relocation, and travel coordination
- Act as liaison between new hires, recruiters, and hiring managers to ensure smooth onboarding readiness
Payroll, Benefits & Compliance
- Execute end-to-end payroll processes, including vendor management, payroll validation, and reporting
- Ensure timely statutory submissions (e.g. tax, social security) and compliance with local labour laws
- Support benefits administration including enrolment, claims, and employee queries
- Prepare statutory reports and maintain audit-ready documentation
HRIS, Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee data in Workday and SAP, ensuring data integrity and compliance
- Generate reports for statutory, operational, and analytical purposes
- Support system enhancements, new modules, and global onboarding workflows
Stakeholder & Operations Excellence
- Coordinate with stakeholders across a complex, global matrix organisation
- Manage external vendors (payroll, background checks, immigration) and ensure service delivery standards
- Advise managers and employees on cross-border employment matters
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency in HR operations
Key Competencies Including
- HR Expertise: Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and local labour laws
- Relationship Management: Builds trust with managers, employees, and HR stakeholders
- Communication: Clear and effective verbal and written communication
- Problem Solving: Able to assess issues and provide practical, timely solutions
- Collaboration: Works effectively across teams in a matrix environment
- Data Analysis: Uses data to support decisions and insights
- Organisational Awareness: Understands business structure, priorities, and culture
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in HR Operations / HR Generalist roles
- Experience managing stakeholders in a large, complex organisation
- Hands-on experience with Workday and SAP
- Experience across HR operations including onboarding, payroll, and lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of payroll and statutory compliance
- Employee-centric, practical, and solutions-oriented
- Self-driven, and takes ownership
