This role supports the integration of new outlets into GSC for Finance functions, including any de-listing activities. Key responsibilities also include the preparation and submission of various reports to HQ. The incumbent is expected to effectively manage stakeholder expectations, demonstrate strong communication skills, and handle challenging conversations with sound business acumen.

As continuous improvement (CI) is a core focus of the team, this role offers opportunities to contribute to CI initiatives and support ongoing transformation efforts.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Coordinate, track, and manage multiple detailed tasks and assignments in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, including the integration of new outlet openings and de-listing activities.
  • Follow up closely with stakeholders to ensure timely sign-off upon completion of integration tasks.
  • Support monthly cash forecast reporting to the HQ Corporate Office.
  • Compile and consolidate global reports to support analysis and decision-making.
  • Perform periodic reconciliation of records in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory or audit requirements.
  • Identify routine accounting issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Gather and analyse information from diverse sources, including internal and external stakeholders, reference materials, contracts, and online resources, to support assigned responsibilities.
  • Assist with continuous integration (CI) support and related tasks.
  • Carry out ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Accounting preferably with audit training, but not mandatory
  • Project Management is an added advantage.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable
  • Proficient user of MS Office, advanced Excel skills: familiar with Lookup functions and Pivot Table
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting demands and meet deadlines
  • Have sense of urgency and well organized
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Ability to work onsite with some ad hoc online meetings in the evenings
  • Work knowledge with SharePoint function
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels
