About The Role
We are looking for an analytical and forward-thinking
Senior Specialist, Risk Culture Modelling & Insights to join our Group Risk team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will be instrumental in strengthening the Bank's risk culture framework through research, data-driven insights, and engagement strategies. You will play a key role in assessing, monitoring, and enhancing risk culture across the Group, including regional offices, while providing valuable insights to senior management and the Board.
What You Will Be Doing
- Conduct research on regulatory expectations and peer benchmarking to identify best practices in assessing and cultivating risk culture.
- Source and analyse qualitative and quantitative data across the Group to identify risk culture themes and insights for senior management and Board reporting.
- Develop and maintain Risk Culture dashboards, aligning key metrics with market best practices.
- Define and measure behaviours that reflect strong risk culture values and principles.
- Design and implement the Risk Culture Programme, ensuring clear, measurable outcomes and milestones.
- Independently assess progress using defined maturity parameters and report findings with supporting evidence to the Board.
- Conduct enterprise-wide risk culture interviews and design bespoke risk culture surveys as needed.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to define what constitutes good and poor risk culture across the enterprise, and develop targeted communication strategies and action plans.
- Participate in risk forums and committees to advocate and advance the risk culture agenda.
- Design and facilitate risk culture education and activation sessions, and provide input into learning materials, including the Bank's e-learning programme.
- Collaborate with Group HR to integrate risk and reward principles into the remuneration and incentive framework.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal risk culture initiatives and engagements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 58 years of experience in risk management, organisational culture, behavioural insights, or related disciplines within the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-level culture or change management programmes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at all levels including senior management and the Board.
- Demonstrated understanding of regulatory expectations surrounding risk culture.
- Proficiency in developing dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools is an advantage.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives across multiple teams and regions.
