About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Specialist to join our Transaction Banking team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will drive the development and management of digital merchant solutions, supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of products under RHB Pay. You will play a key role in shaping product strategy, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring solutions remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with the Bank's digital transformation agenda.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned products, from ideation and design to implementation and commercialization
- Ensure product developments align with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and business goals
- Continuously evaluate and enhance product features based on customer needs and market trends
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer studies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation
- Develop data-driven insights to support product enhancements and new solution development
- Benchmark product offerings to maintain competitiveness and market relevance
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including IT, operations, compliance, and sales to ensure smooth product implementation
- Act as the key liaison between internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions
- Coordinate with marketing and sales teams on product positioning, promotional strategies, and training materials
- Track product performance metrics such as customer base, transaction volume/value, and product utilization
- Establish annual business strategies including product development, enhancements, and commercialization plans
- Support pre-sales activities and client-specific product customization
- Plan, execute, and manage system and non-system related projects including strategic initiatives, compliance changes, and enhancements
- Develop and maintain product documentation, operational processes, and governance frameworks
- Support go-to-market execution including product launches, merchant onboarding, and campaigns
- Monitor product adoption and performance to ensure KPIs are achieved
- Ensure all solutions comply with regulatory standards including BNM and PayNet requirements, and adapt proactively to industry changes
What We're Looking For
- Relevant experience in product management, digital banking, transaction banking, or fintech environment
- Strong understanding of digital payments, merchant solutions, or cash management products
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, driven, and passionate about digital innovation in financial services
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the Malaysian financial industry is an added advantage
