About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated
Senior Specialist, TB Merchant Acquiring to join our Transaction Banking team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the Bank's merchant acquiring business by identifying opportunities, developing compelling value propositions, and building strong relationships with merchants and strategic partners. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to expand both online and offline payment solutions while enhancing overall merchant experience and portfolio performance.
What You Will Be Doing
- Identify opportunities and co-develop value propositions to acquire new merchants and grow RHB's merchant acquiring business
- Drive active engagement and relationship building with merchants through strategic partnerships and collaborations
- Acquire quality merchants with strong transaction utilization and CASA growth potential
- Promote and expand both online and offline payment solutions to meet diverse merchant needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of merchant solutions
- Monitor merchant performance and identify opportunities for portfolio growth and optimization
- Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Support initiatives to strengthen the Bank's position in the merchant acquiring and payments ecosystem
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in merchant acquiring, transaction banking, payments, or related fields
- Proven ability to drive business development and build sustainable client relationships
- Good understanding of payment solutions, including digital and card-based ecosystems
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and deliver results
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Driven, proactive, and results-oriented with a passion for business growth
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the banking industry
