Job Description
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with local GAAP / IFRS and statutory requirements
- Coordinate and manage statutory audits, including liaising with external auditors and responding to audit queries
- Prepare statutory adjustments, reclassifications, and reconciliation between management accounts and statutory accounts
- Ensure timely regulatory filings, including annual reports and financial statements submission to authorities
- Support tax reporting and compliance by working closely with tax teams and external advisors
- Maintain strong documentation and audit trails in line with internal controls and compliance standards
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and assess impact on statutory reporting
- Collaborate with GL, FP&A, and shared services teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Support internal and external audits, including SOX and internal control reviews where applicable
- Participate in process improvements, standardisation initiatives, and reporting enhancements
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent is preferred
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in, s
- Statutory reporting, and financial reporting
- Audit (Big 4 or mid-tier preferred)
- Strong exposure to IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements
- Experience working in an MNC, Shared Services, or regional environment is an advantage
- Strong understanding of statutory accounting, disclosures, and audit requirements
- Experience preparing statutory packs and reconciliations
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
