Senior System Analyst

Requires a combination of high-level programming and analytical skills to analyze, design and test application system specifications.

The job also requires evaluating information systems to assess their suitability for the organization's needs and projected outcome; and liaising with end users, software vendors, and developers in order to achieve the projected outcomes. Troubleshooting issues, managing risks and providing technical support are also important tasks for this job.

Responsibilities

1. Participate during the initial Information Gathering, Analysis and Project Initiation
2. Get business and function requirements from user / stakeholders
3. Perform quality assurance activities and conducting user acceptance testing with end users.
4. Assist the team leader / management effectively on communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
5. Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
6. Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
7. Monitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
8. Support the team leader / management in delivering the project plan on-time.
9. Provide on-going application support and be involved in various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
10. Conduct user requirement analysis for the development and for enhancements to existing systems.
11. To be able to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to manage System / Business Analyst Team.
12. To review and / or verify detailed documentation of system requirement study (SRS) or / and system development design (SDD).
13. Ensure all documents produced are based on HeiTech defined standard and compliance i.e ADVISE, PRECISE, CMMI.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any related areas with a concentration in information systems.
• Minimum five years experiences in systems analysis and design with a variety of programming languages and have experienced developing applications on top of various platforms.
• Comfortable with modern frameworks and technologies and demonstrated experience resolving complex business and application problems.
• Principles, practices, and technologies of computer operations, programming, and systems analysis.
• Current computer programming languages; current operating systems; database languages plus basic network and Internet operations and technology; mainframe
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
