Senior Systems Engineer Linux & Windows

Role:

• We're looking for a hands-on systems engineer to support an acquisition-integration project—assessing existing environments, resolving technical issues and turning gaps into practical delivery plans.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot complex Linux and Windows issues using command-line tools, logs and configuration analysis.
• Assess infrastructure against technical requirements, document gaps and recommend solutions.
• Support integration and remediation activities across systems, applications and cloud environments.
• Investigate operational issues involving DNS, proxy, WAF, SSL/TLS certificates and SMTP.
• Work closely with technical teams and project managers, providing clear updates on actions, dependencies and blockers.

Required Skills:

• Substantial enterprise systems engineering experience, ideally around 10 years, with demonstrated L3 troubleshooting capability.
• Strong hands-on Linux and Windows administration.
• An analytical approach: diagnose the issue, explain the cause and deliver a workable solution.
• Experience implementing infrastructure changes, validating outcomes and documenting recovery plans.
• Clear communication and ownership of technical actions through completion.
