This role is responsible in handling end-to-end tax compliance and advisory for corporate and personal clients, while providing training, research, and responsive client support.
Responsibilities
- Preparation/review of tax computations for corporate and personal clients and delivered on time to ensure deadlines are met.
- Preparation/review of clients Form EA and Form E.
- Provide internal training to team on preparation of tax computation and tax return.
- Conduct research work on tax issues.
- Liaising with Inland Revenue Board on tax-related matters.
- Managing all tax functions including tax planning and advisory, identify and resolve tax issues, double deduction, tax incentives, withholding tax, real property gains tax, capital gains tax, GST/SST, tax audit and investigation, transfer pricing, e-invoicing and etc
- Timely response to client's issues and queries.
- Handling tax compliance works (tax estimate, appeal, refund, strike-off status and etc.)
- Communicate with clients, and follow up on outstanding matters & bills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or professional equivalent certification (ACCA/MIA/CTIM and etc.)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences with strong technical knowledge in taxation.
- Experience in using Superior Tax Software is an added advantage.
- Attention to detail, ability to work independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess tax issues and develop solutions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are also crucial for collaborating with colleagues and clients, as well as explaining complex tax matters.
