Role Description

This is an on-site permanent role for a Senior Tax Associate, based in Georgetown/ HQ Taman Desa Kuala Lumpur/ Seremban (You may choose our branch based on the one nearest to your current stay).

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, including corporate, individual, and indirect taxes
  • Conduct tax planning and structuring to optimise clients tax positions
  • Assist in the preparation of tax computations, schedules, and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations
  • Contribute to the development of tax strategies and provide technical expertise to the team
  • Mentor and train junior team members on tax-related matters

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and knowledge of General Tax principles
  • Understanding of Tax Law and regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively
  • Basic knowledge or experience in Finance as it relates to tax processes
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with Malaysian tax practices and regulations is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
