We are seeking a detailoriented and resourceful tax professional to support a broad range of compliance and advisory activities. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable navigating complex tax matters, collaborating across teams, and keeping up with evolving regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee endtoend compliance for both direct and indirect taxation, including areas such as income tax, withholding obligations, sales and service tax, crossborder service tax, and transfer pricing documentation.
- Manage monthly tax instalment submissions, ensuring payments are prepared accurately and completed before the required deadlines, alongside preparing deferred tax information for monthend closing.
- Handle the preparation and timely submission of statutory sales and service tax filings.
- Compile, update, and review transfer pricing files, coordinating closely with internal teams and external advisors involved in TP analysis.
- Produce tax computations and estimate calculations required for periodic forecasting and statutory submissions.
- Support the rollout and maintenance of electronic invoicing processes within the finance function.
- Communicate with tax authorities when necessary, following up on inquiries and ensuring resolution of outstanding matters.
- Stay current with the latest tax rules, guidelines, and policy changes issued by relevant regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- A recognized bachelor's degree or professional qualification in accounting, finance, taxation, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a role covering multiple tax types.
- Ability to perform under pressure while managing strict deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to tackling taxrelated issues.
- A collaborative team player who can also operate independently with minimal supervision.
