Job Responsibilities
Review and manage all tax submissions
- Handle all tax-related documents (such as import service tax, withholding tax, stamp duty, and tax computation) submitted to government departments, ensuring compliance with company regulations, tax laws, and approval procedures.
- Assist in TP documentation, Country-by-Country Reporting, and Global Minimum Tax.
- Take full ownership of MIDA tax incentive applications, with a proven track record in securing and maintaining Pioneer Status, including preparing and coordinating all required submissions and responses to LHDN and MIDA.
- Liaise with tax authorities on tax issues and provide internal tax advisory and support to management
Accounting
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities to minimize tax expenses and maximize tax savings.
- Timely input of expense vouchers, classify and account by department/project to ensure accurate and clear accounts.
- Continuously review and improve tax-related processes, controls, and documentation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Guide employees on completing reimbursement forms in compliance with regulations and respond to expense-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with the budget team to monitor departmental expense execution and highlight overspending risks.
