Senior Technical Service Associate, Household Care

We are looking for a Senior Technical Service Associate, Household Care to join our Technical Service and Application Science team. In this role, you will combine scientific expertise, customer focus, and laboratory leadership to develop and optimize formulations, solve complex technical challenges, and deliver impactful solutions for our customers and business partners.

The Role & Your Impact

As a Senior Technical Service Associate, you will play a key role in driving technical excellence across household care applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Independently designing, executing, and analyzing laboratory experiments to develop, optimize, and validate household care formulations and application concepts.
• Leading technical investigations and troubleshooting formulation, stability, compatibility, and performance challenges.
• Planning and delivering performance evaluations, demonstrations, and technical studies related to enzymes and active ingredients.
• Interpreting experimental data and translating findings into actionable recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting Household Care projects through reliable technical execution aligned with business and project objectives.
• Improving laboratory methods, protocols, and workflows to enhance efficiency and data quality.
• Ensuring laboratory operations comply with SOPs, GLP, EHS requirements, and relevant quality standards.
• Collaborating with technical, commercial, and cross-functional teams to support innovation and customer success.
• Coaching junior colleagues and contributing to knowledge sharing and capability building within the team.
  
  

What You'll Need to Be Successful

We imagine that you bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• 5-7 years of relevant industry or laboratory experience.
• Experience in household care, detergents, personal care, formulation chemistry, enzymes, or related application areas.
• Strong knowledge of formulation chemistry, surfactant systems, stability assessment, performance testing, analytical methods, and experimental design.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues, analyze complex data, and develop practical solutions.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment, SOPs, GLP requirements, and EHS standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
