GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:
To drive and ensure the future growth and implementation of the business strategy in MYSGBR through development of new business solutions (internal and external), regulatory guidance, and provision of technical support and training.
YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:
- Active identification and analysis of new business opportunities and potential solutions including products, technologies, and services to ensure achievement of the overall strategy, business and financial targets for MYSGBR .
- Define the budget, resources, launch dates and sales targets for the new business opportunities in conjunction with the Commercial director, Commercial Manager, APAC team and global market segment managers.
- Active involvement in the country strategy especially in relation to growth and new business development opportunities to ensure a good understanding and realistic targets are set and implemented for the business.
- Timely and well-executed management of projects by coordinating regulatory, technical, supply chain, and marketing aspects, to deliver on-time launches and to meet financial targets in a sustainable manner.
- Managing the trial program to support existing products and projects, including preparation of protocols, selecting trial partners, delivery of results and analysis of results such that they can be used to support the needs and strategic direction of the business i.e. regulatory and marketing requirements.
- Provide technical support to the business to address customer enquiries, support marketing claims, and actively identify any areas of risk e.g. stewardship concerns.
- Ensure high standard of training materials are available, supporting the needs of our customers and business units.
- Ensure compliance with policy and guidelines of Envu, particularly in relation to stewardship, technical accuracy and external communications.
- Update on a regular basis the progress of projects, sales of launches, market information, competitive intelligence, and overall market and business trends.
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
- Internal: A member of SEA TS with multiple interfaces with all functional departments in MYSGBR, SEA, APAC and Global team
- External: Technology suppliers, including leading negotiations with them. Consultants as appropriate. Researchers for conducting trials, and providing technical support. Industry leaders and key influencers. NGO's, WHO and National Health bodies and experts responsible for management of disease vectors. Key customers
ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE
Main requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is a must, prefer Master or PHD in Entomology, with 5-10 years of technical management, project management and/or business experience
- Be proficient in English, including written and verbal (Oral,
- written, and listening skills)
- Knowledge of pesticides, vector borne diseases, understanding of vector control and pest control market.
- Oil Palm Plantation rodenticide program knowledge
- Strong leadership with the abilities to coach, motivate and develop a team
- Flexible to travel within or outside the country as and when required.
