Senior Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives, design robust test strategies, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate has strong automation expertise, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of modern testing methodologies in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies

Lead manual and automated testing efforts

Develop and maintain test automation frameworks

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams

Identify, document, and track defects through resolution

Mentor and guide junior QA engineers

Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and tools

Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices

Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for automated tests

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

5 - 6 years of experience in software testing

Strong experience with test automation tools

Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.)

Experience with REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and leadership abilities
