Provide engineering supervision for bored tunnelling operations, focusing on mechanical systems, safety, quality, and TBM productivity.
Manage TBM excavation parameters, oversee backfill grouting, segment delivery, and coordinate cutterhead interventions (CHI).
Support and supervise heavy equipment operations, including TBM assembly, conversion, and dismantling works in coordination with all project stakeholders.
Oversee site logistics and mechanical plant operations (including site concrete batching plants, overhead cranes, and gantry cranes) supporting the tunnel drive.
Ensure all site works are carried out in strict compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and project safety protocols.
Submit daily/weekly progress reports, analyze TBM productivity, and optimize resource deployment to minimize downtime.
Minimum Qualifications / Job Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in mechanized tunnel construction and TBM operations.
Strong technical knowledge of large-diameter TBM operations (e.g., EPB or Mix-shield) and heavy mechanical assembly.
Direct experience with high-pressure man-lock operations during cutterhead interventions is highly preferred.
Ability to supervise and coordinate multi-disciplinary site production teams (including MEP, QC, and E&M).
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
Good command of written and spoken English for technical reporting and stakeholder coordination.
Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day/Night).
