Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior UI/UX Designer will be part of the Group Digital Product department, serving both retail consumers and B2B clients — from individual Malaysians managing their personal credit health to businesses leveraging credit and risk intelligence for their operations.

The primary focus of this role is leading the end-to-end design of CTOS's public-facingwebsites and landing pages. The successful candidate will own the full design process and work closely with Product Managers, Tech Developers, Group Marketing and other key stakeholders to deliver experiences that are visually compelling, conversion-focused, and aligned with business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design process for CTOS's public-facing websites and landing pageswhich consists of retail consumers and B2B segments
  • Design engaging, conversion-optimised website and landing pages sections that effectively communicate CTOS's products and value propositions
  • Translate user requirements and business objectives into user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and precise website designs
  • Ensure design consistency, visual hierarchy, and brand alignment across all websites whilst adhering to CTOS's Brand Guidelines
  • Implement tracking features such as Google Analytics to gather data and make improvement to websites performance
  • Plan and conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to inform and validate design decisions
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate and feasible implementation of design specifications
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of CTOS's websites design language and component library
  • Present design proposals and communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability findings, and website performance data
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in website design.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, or any related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of professional UI/UX design experience, with a demonstrated focus on websites
  • A strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design work across web platforms
  • Proficiency in Figma or similar design tool
  • Proficiency in website tracking and analysis features such as Google Analytics
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and responsive web design
  • Added advantage: Have technical knowledge pertaining to website development such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience working within agile product teams alongside developers and product managers
  • Strong attention to detail, with a consistent approach to typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively and independently.
  • Proven experience in user research, customer journey mapping, and product discovery techniques.
  • Experience using tools such as:
  • Figma, Miro, or other wireframing tools
  • Excel, Google Sheets, or basic analytics platforms
  • AI design tools such as Adobe or Canva
