What does a Senior UX/UI Designer do at Hogarth

As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive digital experiences, optimised for the user, business and brand.

You will be capable of independently leading the UX and UI design remit of projects of varying complexity from end-to-end. From facilitating design workshops and conducting research, to defining customer journeys, IA, wireframes, interactive prototypes and testing solutions with users. You are experienced with UX methodologies and techniques and know how to tailor your approach to the needs of a project.

The ideal candidate is a user-centred designer and an empathetic, curious, creative problem solver with a passion for technology. You will join an ambitious and growing team of strategists, creatives and technologists based in Singapore and around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing theUXstrategy for projects
  • Leverage your expertise withUXprocesses and methodologies to decide the best approach for projects of varying complexity
  • Design and facilitate design thinking workshops
  • Lead user research activities, including interviews, testing, secondary research, synthesis and analysis
  • Develop personas and translate user needs and business goals into strategic experience design materials such as customer journeys, information architecture, user flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes
  • Confident and articulate to communicate and justify solutions to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and compelling way
  • Able tobring theUXstrategy to life with beautiful, intuitive,pixel-perfect aesthetics andUIdesign patterns that follow the latest interactive design best practices
  • Able to construct design systems or adopt existing brand guidelines / systems, ensuring consistency

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience inUX and UI design
  • Fully proficient in theUXdiscipline with a solid understanding and demonstrable experience ofUXmethodologies and design principles such as running workshops, conducting qualitative research, creating personas, customer journey mapping, developing information architecture, wireframes, prototypes and usability testing
  • Proficient in industry-standard design and prototyping software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, InVision. Always open and curious about trying new tools that can enhance the output or improve efficiency
  • An online portfolio of work that clearly outlines the requirements and deliverables of the UX and UI design projects worked on and your role within them
  • Experience creating and implementing accessible (WCAG 2.1) designs
  • Passion for technology excited to design seamless experiences across digital touchpoints, from web to AR, VR, metaverse and conversational interfaces
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Collaborative, enjoy working as part of teams both local and remote
