Senior Vision Engineer

Vision software design & hardware configuration (optic, camera, lens & lighting),programming and development for automated inspection systems.

Research in vision technology solutions and sourcing for related hardware & softwarelibraries.

Manage vision projects, establish project schedule and plans.

Coordinate and run vision evaluation, characterization and investigation for customersamples and requests.

Translate customer's requirements into design specification, evaluate designfeasibility and provide technical expertise to exceed customer expectations.

Accountable for vision software and hardware buyoff qualification and reporting.

Provide support to the production team for machine build issues related to vision.

Perform proper engineering documentation including DCN, SOP, user manual andguideline.

Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Companyfrom time to time with on time full closure.

Development Engineer II:

-Able to perform above tasks with limited guidance and lead small scale projectsworking with different functional teams.

Senior Engineer:

-Lead medium scale projects working with different functional teams.

-Plan timelines and ensure projects are completed within expected timelines andresults.

-Provide technical guidance to junior members within the team.

Degree in Engineering or Science in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechatronics/ Computer/Optical/ Photonics with second upper class or above.

Good working relationship and positive work attitude, self-motivated with ability towork independently and in a team environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Positive thinking and willing to provide extended support to customers.

Good semiconductor process knowledge or IR technology is an added advantage.

Good project management skills.

Strong in software programming, optical inspection & image processing.

Experience in using vision libraries e.g. Halcon, Euresys.

Well versed in Visual C++, Visual C#, VB.NET programming language.
