Your Role at VT Markets
The SEO Lead - Global Markets owns the strategy and execution of SEO across multiple regions and languages. This role balances technical SEO foundations and content-led growth, while working closely with Content, Performance Marketing, Product, Engineering, and MarTech teams to drive sustainable organic growth. The role also leads Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) initiatives and applies AI frameworks to scale SEO impact globally.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of SEO experience across multiple international markets.
- Strong hands-on experience in both technical SEO and content SEO.
- Proven ability to lead initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience with AI tools or frameworks applied to SEO or content workflows.
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech, brokerage, or regulated industries.
- Experience operating in a global or CoE model.
- Multilingual or localization experience.
- Strong stakeholder management at manager to director level.
Job Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Leadership- Own global SEO strategy across markets, products, and content types.
- Define scalable SEO frameworks while enabling local market execution.
- Lead and mentor SEO team members and agency partners.
- Act as the SEO subject-matter expert across the organization.
Technical SEO (Balanced Ownership)- Ensure strong global technical SEO foundations including:
- Site architecture, crawlability, indexing, and Core Web Vitals.
- International SEO (hreflang, localization, site structure).
- Partner with Product and Engineering on launches, migrations, and platform changes.
- Identify and prioritize technical opportunities that drive measurable impact.
Content & On-Page SEO- Drive content strategy aligned with search intent and user needs.
- Work closely with Content teams on:
- Keyword research and topic clustering.
- Content briefs, optimization, and internal linking.
- Ensure content quality, relevance, and scalability across global markets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Collaborate with Performance Marketing to align SEO with paid search, ASA, and ASO.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and MarTech to embed SEO into workflows and tooling.
- Ensure SEO insights influence broader growth and marketing decisions.
- GEO & AI Enablement.
- Lead GEO strategy to improve visibility in Al-powered search and answer engines.
- Apply AI frameworks to:
- Content research and optimization.
- SEO analysis, diagnostics, and reporting.
- Stay ahead of global search and AI trends and translate them into action.
Measurement & Impact- Define and track SEO KPIs tied to traffic quality, conversions, and growth.
- Build clear reporting for stakeholders across regions.
- Continuously optimize based on data and performance insights.
