As an OPERA PMS Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing OPERA PMS and its related interfaces for hospitality clients. You'll work closely with hotel teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and ongoing system stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and configure OPERA PMS for new and existing hotel properties
  • Support day-to-day PMS operations and provide second-level application support
  • Deliver OPERA modules, upgrades, and enhancements aligned with hotel operations
  • Implement and support PMS interfaces (POS, payment gateways, back-office systems, etc.)
  • Conduct system testing, UAT support, and go-live assistance
  • Provide end-user training and post-implementation support
  • Troubleshoot issues using logs, database queries, and system diagnostics
  • Work closely with hotel operations, finance, and IT teams to ensure system alignment

Requirements

  • Hotel background is mandatory, preferably in Hotel IT, Systems, or Applications Support
  • Hands-on experience with OPERA PMS (on-prem or cloud)
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations (Front Office, Finance, Interfaces)
  • Working knowledge of SQL for basic queries, data validation, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with hospitality interfaces (POS, payment systems, third-party integrations)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-facing experience
  • Experience with OPERA Cloud and integrations
  • Exposure to Oracle Hospitality interfaces and APIs
  • Knowledge of networking basics, databases, or middleware

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluency in English and local language, both written and spoken
