Operations Manager - BL Excitation(AMEA)

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the service strategy and drive service growth at the respective unit level. Each day, you will lead the Service organization and be responsible for the P&L to achieve performance targets and to optimize the utilization of Service resources. You will also showcase your expertise by running the day-to-day service business to ensure profitable growth and improvement of service productivity. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid, Onsite #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries Excitation Business for Asia. The position is based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for: . Creating and driving implementation of service strategy as a member of the management team. . Ensuring that strategic plans are implemented consistently in the service organization through collaboration with other businesses. . Driving, implementing, reporting, and monitoring of performance targets as part of the respective unit P&L (financial, productivity, investments, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, etc.). . Running the day-to-day service business with proper resource planning to ensure profitable growth and improvement of service productivity. . Investing in improving the quality of existing service products and in developing new service products to expand the portfolio in line with global direction. . Driving continuous improvement culture in HSE and quality to achieve service excellence in your own area of responsibility. . Building sustainable customer relationships to ensure growth, satisfaction, and retention of customers together with sales. . Responsible for Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and all other business compliance standards and regulations in their own area of responsibility.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in electrical, power electronics, or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in service management role within the power generation and Oil & Gas industries.
  • Proven experience in implementing and driving service strategies, with P&L responsibility.
  • Experience in handling a group of service engineers and managing service jobs.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the allocated region countries.
  • Experience in handling multicultural team members across Asia is preferred.
