Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our service department. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a customer-first mindset, capable of driving operational efficiency, team performance, and customer satisfaction while meeting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve service department targets including revenue, CSI, productivity, and efficiency
- Oversee daily service department operations, workflow, and performance
- Manage, coach, and develop all staff
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle escalated concerns
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, and quality of repairs
- Maintain compliance with safety, manufacturer, and company standards
- Review repair orders, estimates, and warranty documentation for accuracy
- Analyze department KPIs, reports, and financial performance
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive service management
- Strong understanding of automotive repair and service processes
- Proven leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with dealership management systems
- Valid driver's license
