Service Operations Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily IT operations, process execution, and documentation activities.
• Develop and maintain small scripts or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, C++).
• Collaborate with internal teams using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Office Suite.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to continuous process enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to information security and data protection standards.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers.
• Prepare status reports, documentation, and updates for internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Programming / Scripting: Basic knowledge of PowerShell, C++, or equivalent scripting languages (Python/Bash is a plus).
• Tools Exposure: Experience using Confluence, Jira, and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Quality Mindset: Basic understanding of quality improvement methodologies and process documentation.
• Security Awareness: Familiarity with information security principles and cryptography basics.
